I do stuff.
I am an engineer at skinnyCorp|threadless.com. (I’ll try to keep most of the tech talk to my tech blog.
I am a bit of a vw idiot. I currently have a ‘91 jetta diesel that I used to drive everyday. Now I take the bus since it’s better for the environment (and my sanity). I also have an ‘81 rabbit pick-up truck that will eventually get the heart out of my old ‘91 ecoDiesel.
Wow. I forgot how easy it was for me to go on and on about cars.
I am also a partner in a small web development firm in Chicago called mk2 development. We focus on smaller scale client work, as well as some of our own projects (all in development right now).
I was raised as a Quaker and while I am not really a “religious” person per se, I gleaned many of my beliefs from Quakerism. That means, I’m a pacificst, I strive for simplicity and I try to care for and respect all beings.
Stemming from that… I’m a vegetarian. I have been for about 15 years now. I’m not about to push that belief on you… but it works for me.
